The director interviews people on the street, views Hollywood stalwarts of maternal sentiment, reads what feminist thinkers have to say on the subject, and copes with life as a single Latina mother.

La realizadora entrevista a la gente en la calles de Nueva York, estudia melodramas maternos de Hollywood, lee lo que escritoras feministas dicen sobre el tema y brega con su vida de madre soltera Latina.
